Seeing the September magazine deadline on the 1st makes me think our unit should set its own internal due date a week earlier. We always submit photos last-minute and cause ourselves unnecessary stress. Has a buffer like that worked for other groups here?

This schedule is packed! I'm particularly curious about the Band Night in the Parking Lot at Murat — that sounds like a fun way to wrap up August. All these events make me wonder how the printed materials and flyers turn out for promotions. Speaking of which, I recently came across a bad quality image maker that does the exact opposite of what you'd want for event posters — it intentionally makes images blurry and pixelated. It's perfect for meme versions of event announcements or inside jokes among the members, just don't use it for the actual flyers!
