The parade route will begin at the point of Butler Street (St. Rt. 119) and Williams Street and will
proceed west to Wayne Street (stop light). Turn right (north) on to Wayne Street and end at
Cooper Farms.
There are a few rules we ask you to follow in order to help the parade be successful:
1. All floats must be in place no later than 1:00 p.m.
Judging will begin promptly at 1:15 pm.
2. All other units must be in place no later than 1:00 pm with the exception of marching
units. They must be ready by 1:30 pm
3. There will be no alcoholic beverages consumed in the parade. We also ask that no water
balloons, super soakers and/or squirt guns be used.
4. Those passing out candy are asked not to throw candy from vehicles. You may pass
out out candy by walk along the curbside.
PLEASE RESPECT THE RULES. Anyone violating these rules will be asked to leave the
parade route at any time. The Fort Recovery Firemen and the Jubilee Committee wants
everyone to have a safe and enjoyable time. Float trophy winners will receive their trophy prior
to the parade. Other entry winners will be announced after the parade at the Headquarters
Stand and Ambassador Park.
We hope you enjoy yourself at the parade. Presale Chicken Dinners are on sale now at the
following in town locations: Park National Bank, Mercer Savings Bank, Miracle Lanes and
Thobe’s Carryout. You can also contact any Sorority member. Pick up is at the Fort Recovery
American Legion on Sunday from 4 – 6 p.m.
